Fireplace is an independent or wall built indoor heating equipment. It uses combustibles as its energy source and has a chimney inside. It originated from the heating facilities of western families or palaces.
As the fuel is renewable resources, it is still widely used in the west, especially in the higher education class who advocate the concept of environmental protection. Fireplace is divided into open type and closed type, the latter has much higher thermal efficiency.

Originally used in western countries, fireplace has decorative function and practical value, and it is very popular in northern Europe.
